Tonight, instead of listening to the game, I went to see Star Trek. As such, my hero is Captain James T. Kirk. But since he no longer plays for the Twins I've got to pick someone else. Looking over the box score it comes down to Harris and Mauer. Tonight, Mauer gets the edge. Because, to be totally honest, his brilliance and relative stoicism evoke tones of Spock, which just seems appropriate.
I present you tonight's Hero Of the Win, Joe Mauer. May he live long and prosper.
